These photos (above and below) are of a Rooster Quilt from one of our customers.  It is in black and off-white fabrics.  It is all roosters and chickens on the front and various farm animals on the back.  We quilted it with a "chicken wire" pattern.  Boy did it look sharp!  The customer said she had planned on giving it as a gift, but now she just might keep it for herself!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!   These quilts were for my family.  The top quilt is a Nativity Scene and was made for my mom.  It is quilted with "feathered angels".  The bottom one is for my dad.  It is quilted with a "snowflake and mittens" pattern.  They are both all flannel and were kits purchased from a local quilt shop.  I did add some additional fabric to the Nativity Scene kit to make it the size that I wanted.  Both were panels and I designed my own size/complimentary squares to become the borders.  I sure hope that the folks like them!!!  If not, I'll keep them. lol

These two lovely pictures are from a BOM quilt from Calico n Cotton in Ocean City, NJ.  Each of the 11 blocks are hand embroidered.  The quilting is a simple echo around eaach basket.  The sashings have a little leafy vine with a larger version in the borders.  Each of the four outside corners has a single sunflower motif quilted.  It really was a lot of fun to do!

This is the wall hanging/ throw  that corresponds to the photo below.  This is the finished product from a class that we took in WV called "Stack 'N Whack Fan".  We also have a King-size version that turned out just as gorgeous.  We snuggle under it every night!!

This "African Dancing Lady" is one of 9 similar blocks.  Each block had a dancing lady on it, but different colored outfits, braids a little different and a few subtle other differences.  The ladies were echoed and then a meander everywhere else on the quilt. Aren't the colors amazing!!!  Every block was more vibrant than the other.  We sure do hope that the recipient is enjoying it!
On a side note: It did turn out to be more of a challenge than we first thought, but once again, IQ came through and made it a breeze.  Don't know what we would do without IQ.  Might just not be quilting! LOL

The photo above and below are of the same quilt.  It was a customer's quilt.  She did a beautiful job of piecing the top.  It was quilted with a simple meander all over, with the white stars left un-quilted.  The thread is a light varigated color that goes along with the fabric colors.  It turned out really sharp.  Some might think that it was a challenge to leave some areas unquilted, but not for the IntelliQuilter!  SHe makes things sooo easy.  We just loved this pattern and fabric so much that we went and bought the jelly-roll and the book to make our own!!!  Now, if we can find the time to make it!! hahahaha

The photo above is the back and the photo below is of the front.  It was all done in Batiks and I believe the name of the pattern is "Starry Night".  It was named and designed after the famous painting by VanGogh (I think).  It was done by a dear friend of ours for her granddaughter.  It was quilted with meandering stars in antique silver thread.  It really looked sharp!

Once again, the top and bottom photos go together. The top is the front and the bottom is the back.  Another dear friend did this quilt.  It is pieced in Kaffe Fassette fabrics and is titled English Garden, I think.  I prefer to title it Mod Flower Garden.  ha ha ha  Can you tell I grew up in the '60's?  It was quilted with Chocolate and Cherry varigated thread on both top and bottom in a "curvy square" meander.  It really turned out quite beautiful.  She was very pleased with the quilting job.

This colorful, fun quilt was made by a customer for her grandson.  It is just so darn cute!!  It was quilted with a varigated thread in the same colors as the top, only in deep, dark tones.  The thread that was used on the top was also used in the bobbin for the back.
